A lighthearted book described as Tropical Gardening for the Really Ignorant Beginner, details the garden we had in Malaysia, its plants, animal, bird and insect inmates but also many amusing anecdotes. It includes some small sketches by me, some woodcuts by our daughter Carola Colley, and some paintings by Marianne North by kind permission of Kew – where her paintings reside today.
